When open, the Panorama glass roof provides a great deal of fresh air. Closed, it creates a bright, light-flooded atmosphere in the interior. It opens and closes completely automatically at the push of a button or with the vehicle key, and is equipped with slide and lift functions, roller sunblind and wind deflector.
M Sport brake.
The M Sport brake with multi-piston brake callipers in dark blue and M designation delivers exceptional braking performance. Adapted to the vehicle's very high dynamic potential, it also allows an exceptional athletic driving style and excellent braking on wet surfaces.

Reversing Assistant.
The Reversing Assistant stores the last 50 m of the driven path in forward travel up to 35 km/h, so that it can be retracted if required. You are relieved of the steering work and can concentrate on monitoring the vehicle environment.
BMW Live Cockpit Professional.
The BMW Live Cockpit Professional with navigation function includes two high-quality displays consisting of a high-resolution 12.3" Control Display that can be operated by touch and a fully digital 12.3" instrument display. The BMW Operating System 7 can also be operated via the iDrive Touch Controller.
Remote Software Upgrade.
The latest software version on board. With Remote Software Upgrade, your BMW will always be up to date. You can simply download the upgrades via the My BMW App or via the SIM card installed in the vehicle and then install them. In this way, other available functions in your BMW are also activated.
Smartphone Integration.
Why go without the features of your smartphone in your BMW when you can continue operating it as usual? With smartphone integration, your vehicle supports Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto® by means of a wireless connection between your smartphone and the vehicle. Exceptionally dynamic and comfortable: the BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo brings together perfectly tuned suspension components in a future-oriented technology. In combination with an efficient and balanced 6-cylinder diesel engine or the free-revving and high-torque 6-cylinder petrol engine, this eliminates any possible obstacles to your sheer driving pleasure on short or long journeys.
Integral Active Steering.
Integral Active Steering combines support that varies based on the steering angle on the front axle, and rear wheels that also contribute to steering. At lower speeds, it offers greater manoeuvrability and agility by turning the rear wheels opposite the front wheels. Beginning around 60 to 80 km/h, the rear wheels turn parallel to the front wheels, to increase driving stability and comfort.
BMW xDrive.
The intelligent BMW xDrive all-wheel drive system smoothly and variably distributes drive power to the front and rear wheels for added traction, driving dynamics and safety in every driving situation. For even better agility, the electronically controlled power distribution for instance counterbalances oversteer or understeer on bends.
