The completely new generation of high-voltage batteries with 800-volt technology enables ultra-fast DC charging capacities of up to 400 kW¹, ⁴. This allows you to recharge enough energy in just 10 minutes to cover a distance of up to 400 km¹, ⁵. And the new BMW i3 can not only charge itself particularly quickly, but can also be used in a variety of ways as an energy storage device or mobile power bank thanks to bidirectional charging – offering complete flexibility, whether at home or on the road.
