¹ Official data for fuel consumption, CO2 emissions, power consumption and electric range was determined in accordance with the prescribed measuring procedure and corresponds to European Regulation (EC) 715/2007 in the applicable version. For ranges, data determined as per WLTP takes into account any optional equipment (available on the German market in this case). For vehicles that have been newly type approved since 1 January 2021, only the official data according to WLTP exists. In addition, NEDC values are deleted from the certificates of conformity as of 1 January 2023 by EC regulation 2022/195. ² The stated values are based on the mandatory WLTP measurement procedure. The real life values depend on various factors, e.g. cargo weight, driving style, route, weather conditions, auxiliary electrical consumption (including air conditioning), tires, battery state of health.

³ The charging performance depends on the state of charge, ambient temperature, individual driving profile and use of auxiliary consumers. The ranges shown are based on the WLTP best case. The charging times apply to ambient temperatures of 23 degrees Celsius after a preceding drive and may differ depending on the usage behaviour.

⁴ The recharged range in km after 10 minutes of High-Power-Charging was determined according to DIN70080 in the WLTP cycle. It depends on the vehicle equipment, individual driving profile, ambient temperature, charging status and the use of additional consumers.

⁵ The My BMW app is compatible with all BMW cars from model year 2014 onwards. It needs ConnectedDrive Services equipment to be fitted, and use of a compatible smartphone. The availability and functions of the My BMW App are market-dependent.

Caution.

- Inspect the general condition of all charging equipment (charging port, charging cable, charging station, and outlet) and the wear and tear. For example, a dirty, loose, or damaged charging surface may cause overheating and become a fire hazard.
- Do not charge your vehicle near a flammable substance, including while refueling.
- If you are using the standard charging cable, always plug it in directly to your wall socket. Do not use an extension cord or an adapter.
- Do not charge your car while it’s wet. For example, don’t charge it outdoors while it’s raining or while it’s being washed.
- Choosing a current limit that is too high may damage your home’s or charging point’s electrical system. If you are not confident in the supporting structure of the charging point, we recommend selecting the lowest amperage.
- Electric cars and plug-in hybrids should be recharged regularly to maintain the life expectancy of their batteries, especially if they are used for short daily commutes or if they have remained stationary for more than one month.
- We do not recommend leaving your electric car or plug-in hybrid stationary for more than three months at a battery level of less than 50%. If you need to leave your vehicle parked long-term, we recommend charging it up to full battery both before parking and before use.
- Always inspect the condition of every piece of equipment for your own safety.
