What are the technical requirements for Apple CarPlay®?
The following requirements have to be fulfilled to use Apple CarPlay®:
An iPhone 5 at least with an iOS version 9.3 or later with an active data plan.
Vehicles with the equipment options of Connected Package Plus (6C2) or Connected Package Professional (6C3/4).
Siri, WiFi and Bluetooth must be activated on the iPhone.
The service Apple CarPlay® has no runtime limitation and is permanently available in your BMW.
