The striking front end of the new BMW 4 Series Coupé shines the spotlight on its standalone character. The large, vertically emphasised BMW kidney grille angles forwards and extends down almost to the lower edge of the front apron. Its standard air intakes have a mesh structure of the sort only previously seen on M models. The kidney grille is framed by surfaces with a three-dimensional structure. Like the contours of the headlights, the bonnet’s arrow-shaped lines zero in on the kidney grille. At the outer edges of the front apron, the likewise vertically designed intakes for the Air Curtains accentuate the width of the car. The slim headlights of the all-new BMW 4 Series Coupé reach well into the front wheel arches.

The flanks of the all-new BMW 4 Series Coupé are shaped by precise and tautly carved surfaces. Short overhangs, slender pillars, long doors with frameless windows, and a flowing roofline accentuate its elegant appearance. At the rear, slim and stylishly darkened full-LED rear lights in L shape underscore the car’s powerful looks.

At the heart of the all-new BMW 430i Coupé is the four-cylinder in-line-petrol engine with the latest BMW TwinPower Turbo technology unleashing a maximum output of 190 kW/258 hp. Maximum torque stands at 400 Nm and can be summoned between 1,550 and 4,400 rpm. The resulting flow of muscle power enables the car to race from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.8 seconds. These bursts of speed are accompanied by the distinctive soundtrack produced by the standard M Sport exhaust system. The all-new BMW 4 Series Coupé have been fitted with the latest version of eight-speed Steptronic transmission as standard to offer even sharper shift dynamics – complete with shift paddles on the steering wheel. It also has the new Sprint function, which adjusts the engine and shift characteristics to bring maximum dynamism to mid-range acceleration and overtaking manoeuvres. Agility in the new BMW 4 Series Coupé is further enhanced by perfect 50:50 weight distribution and a centre of gravity 21 millimetres lower than the 3 Series Sedan’s. The all-new BMW 4 Series Coupé rides as standard on 19-inch M light-alloy Double-spoke wheels in bicolour.

Cleanly designed surfaces, high-quality materials and the driver-focused layout of the cockpit define the premium ambience and singularly performance-centric interior design of the all-new BMW 4 Series Coupé. Sports seats and a newly designed sports leather steering wheel come as standard. The instrument cluster and 10.25-inch Control Display in the all-new BMW 4 Series Coupé form a large-surface display grouping. The start/stop button for the engine is now positioned in a classy control panel in the centre console. And the model specific rear seats with integral head restraints and pronounced individual seat character have been designed to accommodate two passengers. The rear backrest has a 40:20:40 split as standard, allowing one or more sections to be folded down to accommodate large items of luggage that do not fit in the boot.

The all-new BMW 430i Coupé is equipped with significantly wider range of driver assistance systems than the predecessor model. Front collision warning with brake input and Lane Departure Warning, likewise Speed Limit Info. Driving Assistant, Park Distance Control with front and rear sensors and Parking Assistant are also on hand to provide maximum safety to the driver.

The driver and passengers in the all-new BMW 4 Series Coupé will also benefit from enhanced options for intuitive operation and innovative digital services brought by the inclusion of BMW Operating System 7.0. Display content can be configured individually while the intuitive multimodal interaction between driver and vehicle can take place – depending on the situation – via the Control Display’s touchscreen, the proven iDrive Controller, the multifunction buttons on the steering wheel, voice control. The BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant, with added functions, as well as BMW ConnectedDrive, are also at the customer’s service as a standard feature in the all-new BMW 4 Series Coupé.

Each of the model variants has been given a standalone visual presence tailored precisely to its character profile. The BMW X1 sDrive18i (Iconic) comes equipped with 18-inch light alloy wheels in Y-spoke style as well as the same classic sporty design inside and out with black roof rails, sports leather steering wheel, and interior trim finishers in black high-gloss with highlight trim finishers in Pearl Chrome. The BMW X1 xLine, meanwhile, exudes its visual appeal with 18-inch light alloy wheels in bicolour Y-spoke style and an exterior trimmed with satinised aluminium in line with the roof rails. The interior offers enhanced luxury with sport leather steering wheel and interior trim finishers in fine-wood trim oak grain matt with highlight trim finishers in Pearl Chrome. The M Sport variant is a particularly athletic-looking option, BMW Individual High-gloss Shadow Line trim with extended features, and the M Aerodynamics package. A truly sporty interior with elevated sporty ambience can be extracted from M Sport leather steering wheel, sport seats, BMW Individual headliner anthracite, and interior trim finishers in aluminium, finely brushed lengthwise, with highlight trim finishers Pearl Chrome.

The high-quality standards of the BMW X1 are evident, for example, in the new contrast stitching on the instrument panel, which is black on its upper section and adopts the colour of the interior upholstery lower down. One of the highlights of the BMW X1 interior is the Control Display. A centrally mounted 8.8-inch (10.25-inch for xLine and M Sport) screen is included as standard – which can be operated using the BMW iDrive Controller, voice control or touchscreen technology – comes as part of the package.

Innovative suite of driver assistance systems such as full connectivity from BMW ConnectedDrive, Parking Assistant, and Park Distance Control (PDC) are equipped as standard, with additions of Navigation Plus, BMW Head-up display, and Rear view camera in the xLine and M Sport variants.

Powering the BMW 220i Gran Coupe M Sport is a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine with BMW TwinPower Turbo technology. Paired with a highly sophisticated 7-speed Steptronic transmission with double clutch, the engine produces up to 141 kW/192 hp of power and a peak torque of 280 Nm from 1,350 to 4,600 rpm. This gives the car a 0-100 km/h sprint speed of 7.1 seconds and a top speed of 238 km/h.

The M Sport suspension featured in the BMW 220i Gran Coupe M Sport comes with tighter shock absorber adjustment which greatly improves agility. The spring constant and stiffer suspension stabilisers in the M Sport suspension significantly improve steering precision without a loss of comfort, while the stiffer damper characteristics are perfectly calibrated to match.

The interior of the BMW 220i Gran Coupe M Sport combines sporting flair with exquisite materials and a use of space designed with both family life and long-distance journeys in mind. The driver-focused cockpit delivers vital information to the driver without requiring them to take their eyes off the road – from the fully digital 10.25-inch Info Display instrument cluster to the high-resolution 10.25-inch, touch-sensitive Control Display that is centrally mounted and angled towards the driver in customary BMW fashion.

This driver-focused layout is further enhanced visually by trim strips which run towards the driver and different graining effects and textures on the instrument panel and behind the steering wheel.
