Bangkok. ChargeNow partners recently teamed up with Mercure Ibis Bangkok Sukhumvit 24 to bring the latest ChargeNow station for electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids to the heart of the city. The ChargeNow initiative aims to proactively expand the network of public charging stations with the partners in the years to come to reinforce the commitment to and sustainably drive the development and adoption of electric mobility in Thailand.

This joint effort reiterates BMW Group Thailand’s position as a pioneer in the field of sustainability through its ongoing support to Thailand’s charging infrastructure, paving the way for the future of electromoblity. The extension of public charging stations will serve the substantial increase in plug-in hybrids and battery electric vehicles. Since the ChargeNow initiative was launched in 2017, the aim has been to provide allowing all members with easy access to the charging stations regardless of brands and models,

The prime locations of ChargeNow charging stations at shopping centres and leading hotels ensure convenience and easy access throughout Bangkok and major cities nationwide. Available with a 2-way charger compatible with both AC Type I (SAE J1772) & Type II (IEC 62196), there are currently more than 123 ChargeNow public charging outlets and charging points at BMW authorized dealers at 58 locations nationwide.

ChargeNow stations offer customers the ability to charge their vehicles conveniently, regardless of make and model, by registering via LINE Official Account for smartphones.
