Bangkok. BMW Thailand has continued its cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as the mobility partner for the 35th ASEAN Summit, delivering the new BMW 745Le xDrive M Sport plug-in hybrid vehicles, which were used as the exclusive transport for the ASEAN Leaders and dialogue partners attending the summit in Bangkok from 2-4 November 2019.

The new BMW 745Le xDrive M Sport is the latest member of the BMW 7 Series family. Amongst the highlights of the new BMW 7 Series are the newly designed BMW kidney grille that is 40-percent larger, slimmer headlight units and larger outer air intakes with eye-catching chrome trim strips. The driving performance and latest driving assistant technologies have also been enhanced to provide BMW’s uniquely prestigious automotive experience to both passenger and driver.

The plug-in hybrid BMW 745Le xDrive M Sport delivers a pleasurable experience with low fuel consumption and low CO2-emissions of 64 g/km, in line with the “Green Meeting” concept of this year’s ASEAN meetings. Environmental issues are another agenda to which Thailand, as Chair of ASEAN in 2019, along with member states and related agencies from both public and private sectors, are committed as they work toward achieving sustainability goals in various dimensions. This also reinforces BMW’s efforts to establish a solid foundation for the sustainable future of electric mobility in Thailand.
