BMW Thailand delivers 3-million-baht prizes to two hole-in-one winners from the BMW Golf Cup International Qualifying 2018

Bangkok. - BMW Thailand delivered two exclusive prizes – a BMW X1 and a Bowers & Wilkins 800 D3 speaker valued at more than 3 million baht combined – to two hole-in-one winners from the qualifying round of the BMW Golf Cup International 2018 tournament at Siam Country Club Pattaya Old Course in May. This marks the first time that the BMW Golf Cup in Thailand witnessed two amateur golfers hitting hole-in-ones within the same tournament.

 

 

The BMW X1 sDrive18i xLine, valued at 2,259,000 baht, went to Khun Trairong Suanmalai, an amateur golfer from German Auto, who hit a remarkable hole-in-one at Hole No. 16, Par 3, 177 yardage. He was congratulated by Khun Piyavit Khemarangsan, President of German Auto, and Khun Ong-ard Arunsaengroj, Director Sales and Marketing, BMW Financial Services Thailand, at German Auto Chaengwattana.

 

 

Mr. Nicholas John White, another amateur golfer from Nelson’s Autohaus, won a Bowers & Wilkins 800 D3 speaker worth 1,390,000 baht after hitting a beautiful 168-yard hole-in-one on Hole No.8, Par 3. The prize presentation ceremony recently took place at Bowers & Wilkins Experience Center and was joined by Mr. Randy Nelson, Director of Nelson’s Autohaus, and Khun Takernglap Kowathana, Director, Music plus Cinema Co.,Ltd.

 

 

From 2,400 participants at the qualifying round of the BMW Golf Cup International 2018 held from February to May 2018, only 120 amateur golfers from 20 different tournaments nationwide progressed to the National Final, which will conclude with the selection of three winning players to represent Thailand at the BMW Golf World Final round.
