BMW Group Thailand and Nithiboon celebrate showroom reopening in new location to enhance premium automotive experience across three brands in Phitsanulok and lower northern region

Phitsanulok. BMW Group Thailand and authorized dealer Nithiboon officially unveiled a new showroom and service center for BMW, MINI and BMW Motorrad in Phitsanulok province after decades of successful business in the lower northern region. The new facility stands ready to deliver an enhanced and comprehensive range of services and sales offerings as well as lifestyle products in response to growing customer demand in the area, bringing the ultimate BMW experience to Phitsanulok and nearby provinces in the process.
Mr. Christian Wiedmann, President, BMW Group Thailand, said, “Nithiboon has been an important partner driving BMW Group Thailand’s sales and services in the lower northern region of Thailand and led towards many successes and milestones since the beginning of our partnership in 1998. With a showroom and service center for BMW, MINI and BMW Motorrad, we can better serve the growing demands of customers across the region and this, in turn, will elevate Nithiboon’s potential and expertise in the industry. The Nithiboon Phitsanulok facility spans an area of 5 rai and offers services to customers in Phitsanulok and in the lower northern region of Thailand. Located in this strategic location, the showroom and service center provides services across BMW Group’s three brands and can support up to 22 cars and 8 motorcycles per day, an increase from the previous facility that could support 11 cars and 4 motorcycles per day.
Khun Tiensaeng Nitayamekin, Dealer Principal, Nithiboon, said “With over 150 million baht of investment, our new showroom and service center is located in an excellent location on Phitsanulok-Nakornsawan km 13 road that is convenient to travel to and from. This puts us in a great position to offer various activities to visiting customers, ranging from new model launch events and lifestyle activities to all-inclusive after-sales services that cement our position as the leader in the premium automotive market.”
Customers who come to Nithiboon Phitsanulok will be greeted with a modern facility that features a spacious display area for 12 BMW and MINI vehicles and 12 bikes from BMW Motorrad. The brand experience is further enhanced with expanded after-sales services – including 6 mechanical work bays and a team of 70 skilled technicians and experienced sales consultants that are on hand to provide complete satisfaction for customers.

BMW Group Thailand

On-going investment has been put into the expansion of plant Rayong in terms of assembling processes, aiming to meet growing customer demand. In addition, with approximately 4 billion Thai Baht representing the amount of annual purchasing in Thailand, the BMW Global Purchasing office has been established in Thailand. This is to source various components from local suppliers in Thailand and the broader ASEAN region, in order to supply the entire BMW production network of 30 production and assembly facilities, located in 14 countries worldwide.
As of 2017, BMW Group Manufacturing Thailand produces the following 17 models: BMW 1 Series, BMW 3 Series, BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo, BMW 5 Series, BMW 7 Series, BMW X1, BMW X3, BMW X4 and BMW X5. For BMW Motorrad the BMW F 800 R, BMW F 800 GS, BMW F 700 GS, BMW R 1200 GS, BMW R 1200 GS Adventure, BMW S 1000 R, BMW S 1000 RR and BMW S 1000 XR are also locally assembled at the plant.
