On the inside, the M4 DTM Champion Edition puts both driver and co-driver in M Carbon bucket seats covered in exclusive Alcantara / Leather Merino. Furthermore, the entire interior is lined with exceptionally high-quality covering material Alcantara, also used on the M Sports steering wheel sporting a grey “12 o’clock” marker, while a white rollover bar replaces the rear seat system. Efficient, extravagant: The BMW 740Le xDrive Pure Excellence (locally-assembled) and BMW 730Ld Pure Excellence

BMW 740Le xDrive Pure Excellence – THB 6,339,000 (VAT incl. with BSI Standard Package)

The BMW 740Le xDrive Pure Excellence – now available in locally-assembled form – is making top-level driving pleasure, long-distance comfort and luxury more accessible than ever to Thai motorists. With a combination of Carbon Core body structure and high-voltage battery, the 740Le xDrive Pure Excellence retains the 7 Series‘ superior driving experience and represents the most rigorous implementation yet of Efficient Dynamics in vehicles from the BMW brand.

The BMW 740Le xDrive Pure Excellence brings together a 190kW/258hp BMW TwinPower Turbo combustion engine – the most powerful four-cylinder engine ever fitted in a series-produced BMW – and an electric drive system with a maximum output of 83kW/113hp to provide thrillingly instantaneous power delivery with a total system output of 240kW/326hp and a combined peak torque of 500Nm.

When operating only on electric power, BMW 740Le xDrive Pure Excellence can cover a maximum range of 41 kilometres. The electric motor is fully integrated into the eight-speed Steptronic transmission. This ensures that pure-electric driving, the dynamics-enhancing electric boost function and the recuperation of braking energy are all extremely efficient.

The BMW 740Le xDrive Pure Excellence comes with intelligent all-wheel-drive system to

ensure supreme traction, optimized directional stability and enhanced agility through enthusiastically taken corners in all weather and road conditions.

Perfectly executed power distribution between the front and rear wheels gives BMW 740Le xDrive Pure Excellence extremely dynamic accelerative ability, with the journey from rest to 100 km/h completed in 5.3 seconds yet the petrol consumption is just 47.6 kilometers per liters combined, while the associated CO2 emission is 49 grams per kilometer. In all-electric mode, the BMW 740Le xDrive Pure Excellence has a pure-electric top speed of 140 km/h.

BMW 740Le xDrive Pure Excellence also comes equipped as standard with the newly designed Driving Experience Control switch on the centre console. At the touch of a button, the driver can activate a vehicle setting that optimizes dynamics, comfort or efficiency. Beyond this, the Driving Experience Control switch offers the option of selecting ADAPTIVE mode. In this setting, the car’s responses adapt noticeably to the driver’s style and route profile.

When hooked up to a conventional domestic power socket the high-voltage battery can be fully recharged from flat in around 4 hours. A tailor-made solution for safe, simple and extra-fast battery charging at home is available under the umbrella of BMW 360° ELECTRIC. The BMW i Wallbox Pure is capable of replenishing the high-voltage battery at a charging rate of 3.5 kW (16 A/230 V). As a result, it takes 2 hours and 40 minutes to fully recharge an empty battery pack.

BMW 730Ld Pure Excellence – THB 5,839,000 (VAT incl. with BSI Standard Package)

The BMW 7 Series‘ sophisticated, precision-honed chassis technology gives the BMW 730Ld Pure Excellence exceptional driving dynamics and ride quality. BMW EfficientLightweight helps to reduce the weight of the BMW 730Ld Pure Excellence by up to 130 kilograms compared to previous generation counterparts.

At the center of it all is the body structure with Carbon Core, an inheritance from the development of the revolutionary BMW i8 hybrid sports car. BMW 730Ld Pure Excellence combines ultra-lightweight Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic (CFRP) with steel and aluminum in an intelligent body concept that vastly improves the strength and rigidity of the passenger cell while at the same time significantly reducing vehicle weight.

Powered by a 3.0-liter straight six diesel plant with BMW TwinPower Turbo technology, the BMW 730Ld Pure Excellence is capable of delivering up to 265hp and 620Nm torque to its wheels via an eight-speed automatic gearbox, allowing it to reach 100 km/h from a standstill in 6.2 seconds while still offering passengers genuine, relaxing pleasure on the road.

The BMW 730Ld Pure Excellence features the air flap which is only open when there is an increased cooling requirement, remaining closed the rest of the time. This improves aerodynamics as well as giving the front end an even more eye-catching appearance due to the visibly increased number of bars in the large BMW kidney grille. The headlight units

extend up as far as the grille, while the light graphic of the familiar BMW twin circularheadlights is leveled off at its upper and lower edges, giving the car a purposeful and focused look.

The BMW 730Ld Pure Excellence’s iDrive operating system is controlled by a touch display, allowing users to operate the system in the same way as modern electronic devices. In addition to using the Controller to operate the system in familiar style, its functions can also be selected and activated by touching the screen’s surface.

The iDrive system’s functionality is further enhanced by new BMW gesture control. Hand movements detected by a 3D sensor control infotainment functions in an extremely intuitive and user-friendly fashion. Gestures can be used for a number of functions, including controlling the volume in audio applications and accepting or rejecting incoming telephone calls.

Both the 740Le xDrive Pure Excellence and 730Ld Pure Excellence offer a high level of standard specifications, including adaptive LED headlights, the BMW Display Key, the navigation system Professional, and an iDrive operating system expanded to include a touchscreen function for the Control Display and BMW gesture control feature. Both the front and rear seats come with comfort seats and active seat ventilation as well as massage and seat heating functions. Maximizing personal wellbeing in the rear compartment, meanwhile, are the Executive Lounge Seating and the Sky Lounge Panorama glass roof.

The electric motor puts an output of 83 kW/113 hp on tap, while its maximum torque of 250 Newton metres is available from the word go in typical electric drive fashion. This has the effect of boosting the engine’s output for thrilling, instantaneous responsiveness and power build-up with absolutely no delay when accelerating from stationary. The BMW X5 xDrive40e Pure Experience completes the 0 to 100 km/h sprint in just 6.8 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 210 km/h. In all-electric drive mode, meanwhile, the vehicle is capable of a top speed of 120 km/h, again electronically limited.

The intelligently controlled interaction between the combustion engine and the electric drive, which together generate a system output of 230 kW/313 hp, endows the BMW X5 xDrive40e Pure Experience with exceptionally dynamic acceleration while also substantially cutting fuel consumption and emissions in everyday driving. It returns a combined fuel consumption of 29.4 km/l and CO2 emissions at 79 g/km.

BMW X5 xDrive40e Pure Experience provides the ideal basis for extensive use of the electric drive system for highly efficient mobility, even including urban driving with zero tailpipe emissions. Its high-voltage battery offers a gross energy capacity of 9.0 kilowatt hours (kWh) and can be topped up with energy from any domestic power socket. The standard charging cable can be kept in a compartment underneath the luggage compartment floor.

When hooked up to a conventional domestic power socket the high-voltage battery can be fully recharged from flat in around 3 hours and 50 minutes. As a result, it takes 2 hours and 45 minutes to fully recharge an empty battery pack.

The BMW i8 (Protonic Frozen Black Edition) – THB 11,839,000 (VAT incl. with BSI Standard Package)

The BMW i8 Protonic Frozen Black Edition – which is produced in a limited run– owes its striking appearance to a model-specific BMW Individual paint finish. The exclusive exterior shade Protonic Frozen Black shares its canvas with accents in Frozen Grey metallic. A sophisticated application process is employed to transfer the paint to the BMW i8’s carbon fibre-reinforced plastic (CFRP) bodywork. The Protonic Frozen Black finish has a silky-matt

shimmer and shines a particularly vivid spotlight on the plug-in-hybrid sports car’s dynamic lines and flowing surface design. Inside this special-edition model, contrast stitching in Yellow for the seat surfaces and centre console underlines the sporty and extravagant looks that dominate the cockpit design of the BMW i8. Yellow contrast stitching can also be found in the side panel trim and door cards, on the floor mats and in the lower section of the instrument panel. An anthracite-coloured headliner, grey seat belt straps, ceramic applications for the selector lever and iDrive Controller, and door sill strips with “Edition” inscriptions add the finishing touches to the exclusive interior ambience of the special-edition model.
