Bangkok, 24 February 2017 – BMW Group Thailand’s authorized dealer Millennium Auto, today unveiled its latest BMW and MINI authorized dealership in Phuket. This latest announcement reinforcing its potential for sales and services to BMW customers in the Andaman market, by immersing them with BMW’s state-of-the-art innovation and services, which have been specially designed for the ultimate experience of BMW’s and MINI’s customers.

The Millennium Auto Phuket showroom and service center features state-of-the-art sales and service facility, located on 4 rai. The new showrooms, more than 400 million baht of investment, sales and aftersales services to the BMW global standard are offered in every aspect. The new car showroom offers a total capacity of 38 display units, including BMW 8 units and MINI 6 units, while the BMW Premium Selection and MINI NEXT certified used car area features capacity of up to 24 units. As an integral of the dealership, there are also BMW lifestyle and accessories displays, which have been designed to offer the maximum of comfort and convenience, to all BMW and MINI customers.
After service facilities of Millennium Auto Phuket feature 10 mechanical work bays, including diagnosis room for 2 cars, as well as BMW & MINI Approved Body Paint with 20 work bays, including 2 body repairs and 2 spray booths.
A total of over 40 highly-qualified sales consultants, service personnel and skilled technicians trained by BMW Group Thailand, will be on hand for professional consulting and aftersales mechanical services, providing service beyond expectations to every BMW and MINI customer.

BMW Group Thailand

In 2016, another 488 million Thai Baht investment is going into further expansion of plant Rayong in terms of assembling processes, aiming to meet growing customer demand and building on an investment of over 3.7 billion Baht year-to-date 2015. In addition, with approximately 4 billion Thai Baht representing the amount of annual purchasing in Thailand, the BMW Global Purchasing office will be established in Thailand. Since 2012, BMW Group Thailand together with the founding partner companies brought the dual vocation concept to Thailand in cooperation with the German-Thai Chamber of Commerce (GTCC) and the German International Co-operation (GIZ). The collaborative program, known as the German-Thai Dual Excellence Education (GTDEE), is an educational platform for the BMW Service Apprentice program, which provides all participating students with fundamental training at the college, BMW theory and practical training at the BMW Training Center, and on-the-job training and support from BMW certified technicians at authorized BMW dealerships. Since its inception, the partnership has helped develop young students and enabled them to become skilled workers in the automotive industry, while also reinforcing Thailand’s potential to serve as a global automotive production hub.
