BMW Group Thailand – led by Mr. Stefan Teuchert, President – is providing King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi – led by Associate Professor Dr. Sakarindr Bhumiratana, President – with access to BMW electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles to lend support to the Charge & Share initiative under a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to study the prospects of electric vehicles (EV) and car sharing programs in Thailand.

BMW Group Thailand provides shuttle vehicle service for mourners paying tribute to His Majesty the King.
Bangkok. BMW Group Thailand, in remembrance of His Majesty the King’s contributions to the nation, has vowed to follow his royal footsteps through the “Good Deeds for the King” program, which kicked off with the placement of building wrap poster on the Bangkok skyline at Baiyoke Tower 2. To further underline BMW Group Thailand’s commitment to carry out “Good Deeds for the King”, the company has set up the BMW, MINI and BMW Motorrad shuttle services for the convenience of mourners seeking to pay homage to the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 11 November to 25 December 2016.

Thailand national winners of BMW Golf Cup International National Final 2016 to represent Thailand at the BMW Golf Cup International World Final 2016 in March 2017 in Dubai.
Huahin The BMW Golf Cup International National Final 2016 was recently held at the Banyan Golf Club in Hua Hin. Among the 2,760 contending golfers, competing in 21 tournaments nationwide, three national winners have been selected to represent Thailand at the BMW Golf Cup International World Final 2016 at the Emirates Golf Club in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, in March, 2017.

BMW Thailand supports the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to welcome Heads of States and Governments in the 2nd ACD Summit with BMW 5 Series and BMW 7 Series.
Bangkok. BMW Thailand recently presented a fleet of BMW 5-Series and BMW 7-Series vehicles to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the transportation of senior state officials visiting Thailand for the 2nd Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) Summit, which is set to take place on October 8-10. The fleet will provide visiting Heads of States and their delegations with comfort and convenience from cutting-edge technologies as well as outstanding performance and safety features complementing Thailand’s strengths in the international community as the host of the summit in this historic event.

BMW Thailand has drawn the names of lucky winners from its BMW’s 100-year anniversary campaign, which offered one grand prize valued at 1 million baht plus five premium travel packages to Germany for two travelers valued at 3 million baht in total for customers who placed orders for eligible BMW vehicles from authorized dealers in Thailand throughout July 2016.

BMW Group Thailand has announced the appointment of Mr. Stefan Teuchert as President, effective from 1st September, 2016. Mr. Teuchert succeeds Mr. Matthias Pfalz, who is now set to take over his new position as the Head of Retail Outlet Cluster North Germany, located in Hamburg.

BMW Group Thailand organised the Urban Night Drive with BMW iPerformance test drive activity to offer the motoring press contingent hands-on experience with the exceptional performance and efficiency of plug-in hybrid technology found in the BMW xDrive40e M Sport and BMW 330e M Sport. The drive covered an urban route with a relaxing night-time atmosphere that afforded drivers with the opportunity to fully savour the colours of Bangkok nightlife.

BMW Golf Cup Int'l 2016 Qualifiers.
BMW Thailand – led by Mr. Matthias Pfalz, President – recently staged the qualifying round of the BMW Golf Cup International 2016 tournament at Nikanti Golf Club, Nakhon Pathom province on 17 May 2016. This qualification round will see 126 amateur golfers out of 2,800 participants nationwide progress to the national finals, which will conclude with the selection of three winning players to represent Thailand at the World Final round.
