The cordless Bluetooth mobile phone means you can do away with the cumbersome cable between your mobile handset and the hands-free equipment. Bluetooth-compatible mobile phones register with the on-board computer via the optional interface as soon as the driver approaches the vehicle. Telephone numbers, addresses and call lists are then automatically synchronised with the on-board computer. During the journey, the mobile phone can be operated using the multifunction steering wheel or the hands-free equipment. There is a snap-in-adapter available for the Apple iPhone. You local BMW partner will be happy to inform you of the mobile phones with which the Bluetooth® interface is compatible.

BMW Navigation system Professional for
the BMW 3 Series Convertible.

The BMW Navigation system Professional features an 8.8-inch monitor and a 3D map display, along with an additional 12 GB of hard disc space for your favorite music and other media. It is extremely easy to operate and guides you quickly and directly to your destination. Instructions are given visually as easy-to-follow arrows, and/or as clear verbal instructions over the sound system.

A digital map of the area can also be viewed from different angles and distances, offering a high-resolution zoom function for even better orientation (from 1000 km down to 100 m). The navigation system is controlled using the iDrive Controller. Often-used addresses can be saved directly on a favorites button for instant retrieval making your journey even more convenient.
